How the AR-15 conquered the American market

Joy Reid leads this episode of The ReidOut with news of another mass shooting, this incident occurring in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a hospital. Authorities say multiple people were shot and at least three have been killed. The shooter is also dead, according to police. Sadly, in Uvalde, Texas, memorials and funerals were also held on Wednesday for seven of the 21 victims of the deadly mass shooting that happened there just days ago. Meanwhile, in Washington, lawmakers met to discuss a possible way forward on gun safety legislation. The senator leading those talks, Chris Murphy of Connecticut, joins The ReidOut. But, Joy begins this episode with a hard conversation about the AR-15 and the industry that gives murderers the tools to succeed in devastating fashion. It was not always like this. Former gun industry insider Ryan Busse explains to Joy Reid how the AR-15 conquered the American market. All this and more in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.
