Jack Smith seeks to ban Trump from discussing conspiracy theories in his criminal trial

In for Joy Reid, Charles Coleman Jr. leads this episode of The ReidOut with Special Counsel Jack Smith filing a new motion to block Donald Trump from making political arguments during his criminal trial. The new filing also blocks Trump from discussing conspiracy theories and “irrelevant disinformation.” Charles is joined by a panel of experts to discuss this plus Michigan’s Supreme Court deciding against removing Trump from the 2024 ballot, unlike Colorado’s highest court. Also, we discuss the Republican’s new and unrelenting attacks against the Voting Rights Act in many states, and what this means for the future of fair representation. Finally, Charles and his guests discuss the Iowa caucuses, which are now just three weeks away. All this and more in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.
