Joy Reid: The faction of the right defying COVID-fighting measures is a death cult

Joy Reid leads this episode of The ReidOut with the Republicans defying Covid-fighting measures. She observes, "How many more people have to die before we say what we've all known for some time. This faction of the right is a death cult." Next, we turn to the three appellate judges who heard arguments on Tuesday about whether Donald Trump can withhold White House records from the select committee investigating Jan. 6. It is no surprise that the panel of judges appeared skeptical of Trump’s case. Then, Joy and her panel analyze the Supreme Court being set to hear arguments from the state of Mississippi, which is outright asking the court to overturn Roe v. Wade. This could spell the beginning of the end of Americans' constitutional right to an abortion. Finally, in "The Absolute Worst," Joy says, "I think we should buy these books even more and give them as gifts," in response to those attempting to ban books that teach the truth about American history, the Civil Rights Movement, and more. These topics and much more are analyzed by Joy Reid and her guests in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.
