This week, Jacki and Lyle embark on the much anticipated Interview Technique episode! In an incredibly informative and open discussion, Jacki and Lyle discuss their own experiences of interviews, both in terms of being interviewed and being the interviewer. Jacki analyses the importance of body language in an interview, and how all an employer wants to see in an interview situation is the applicant being the best version of themselves they can possibly be. Lyle opens up on his experiences of both interviews and auditions, and the similarities between the two, before Jacki and Lyle convey a hugely important tip - interview them as much as they are interviewing you! They discuss the importance of being interested in the industry you are applying for a position within, and the difference between interest and enthusiasm in an interview, with the latter being something anyone can express without really meaning it.
