Chuck D. Tilley has been a studio and touring musician for over 30 years. Based in Nashville , he has worked in multiple musical genres and has performed in over 40 countries and in all 50 states. He has been in the House band for many years on several network shows such as Nashville Star, Can You Duet, CMT’s Next Superstar and FOX TV’s Next Great American Band, the NFL Draft, the NHL All Star Game, and the NHL Stanley Cup Final.
 
He has been featured on the ABC TV’s music drama “Nashville” the past 6 years as the drummer for series star Connie Britton’s lead character “Rayna James”. He was on the show all 6 seasons from episode one until the finale .
 
He joined the iconic band “Alabama” from 2012 until 2018 and performed over 350 tour dates and TV appearances with them and is featured on their live DVD “Alabama and Friends”.
 
He has performed on Grammy and Juno award winning albums as well as several Gold/Platinum selling albums and / or videos.
 
Since 2007, He has also recorded and toured internationally with pop-rock star Richard Marx. He is featured on Richard’s Greatest Hits compilation “Stories to Tell” and the live DVD and PBS TV special “A Night Out with Friends”, which features actor/ singer Hugh Jackman . He has toured extensively overseas performing in venues ranging from symphony halls, to outdoor rock festivals and stadiums. Chuck also performed with Richard to a packed house in London’s Royal Albert hall in spring of 2011.
 
In a national poll in “Modern Drummer” magazine in 2014, Chuck was voted as a Top 3 Finalist in the award category of “Best Country Drummer”.
