Duncan Phillips is an Australian pop/rock drummer, percussionist, keyboardist, and composer. He is best known for his career with the Newsboys as their drummer and percussionist.

Phillips' involvement with musical performance began in the 80's with a band he had in Queensland, Australia, which played for local youth groups. After moving to the U.S., Phillips joined the Newsboys in 1993 as a keyboardist. Phillip's role as a keyboardist only lasted for one album, "Going Public". After that he played as the band's main drummer and percussionist, and has remained as a part of the Newsboys ever since. Duncan is an avid fitness fanatic and motorcyclist.
Newsboys have released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. As of 2019, the band consists of lead vocalist Michael Tait (formerly of DC TALK, drummer Duncan Phillips, keyboardist and bassist Jeff Frankenstein, and guitarist Jody Davis. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in three “God’s Not Dead” films.
