Charles Armitage - Effectively Fill Shifts Without Agency
My guest today is former doctor and current CEO and co-founder of Florence, a marketplace for carers and nurses to find shifts whilst cutting out agencies. Charles saw the inefficiencies in the current healthcare staffing models whilst working as a doctor and decided to do something about it. On the show we talk about how Florence works and whether it helps or contributes to the current staffing issues in care today, and we also talk more about technology in general as well as the future of care. Charles had some new ideas we've never discussed before which were all pretty positive about how the care sector might change in the next 50 years. I was excited to hear his fresh take on it.
