Isabel Ngwenya - Home Care Worker Of The Year

I'm delighted to be joined by Isabel Ngwenya who works for Shine Partnerships in London. Isabel supports forensic mental health clients and works as a home care worker and induction support for the company. Isabel works in a what can be a challenging environment so I was interested to find out what support she gives to clients and how she helps new care workers settle into their roles.  Isabel also credits her company with supporting her when she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis so I wanted to hear about how they'd done that.  At the time of recording Isabel had just won the regional final for home care worker at the Great British Care Awards, but since recording she went on to win the National award too!
