Clemson’s Makenzie Steele Talks About Running In The NCAA, GoodFoodGoodRun, And Much More!

On this week’s episode of the podcast, I have the great privilege of speaking with Makenzie Steele. Makenzie is an accomplished NCAA DI runner who competes for the University of Clemson. Makenzie got a late start in the sport of running, but once she discovered it she never looked back. Makenzie also created the highly successful “goodfoodgoodrun” account. There she has amassed thousands of followers and millions of views. She uses this platform to advocate for sports nutrition and “making eating healthy and fun so you don’t have to”. In this episode, Makenzie and I do a deep-dive into her running career and her future goals. We also talk about her Instagram account and why she started it and the ways in which she’s grown as a person since its creation. Lastly, we answer your unique listener questions! Om Podcasten

The Running Effect Podcast aims to bring storytelling to the sport of running. What gets people invested in a sport, movie, or book? A good story. Our sport has plenty, but no one is telling them. The Running Effect is changing that. Through our podcast episodes that release every other day, we tell the stories of those at every level of our sport. Through these incredible athletes' stories, we hope it'll inspire you to turn your "what ifs?" into realities. You can also follow us on Instagram @therunningeffect to stay up to date on all current and upcoming projects!
