Italian Record Holder Sinta Vissa On Getting Faster, Moving Countries, & Ambitions For 2024

Today on the podcast is Sinta Vissa! She represented Italy at 2023 & 2022 World Athletics Championships competing in the women's 1500 metres. Sinta is the 2022 NCAA 1500m Champion. She is also the Italian indoor record holder for the mile. Sinta was born in Ethiopia and raised in Italy. She moved to the US in 2019 to run in the NCAA, and that led to her joining the OAC and running track professionally. She started running after watching the Ethiopian teams at the 2008 Olympics.  In today's episode, Sinta takes me through her story, moving countries twice and what those transitions were like, going to the NCAA, her progression at Ole Miss, choosing OAC, her amabitions for 2024, and so much more! Om Podcasten

The Running Effect Podcast aims to bring storytelling to the sport of running. What gets people invested in a sport, movie, or book? A good story. Our sport has plenty, but no one is telling them. The Running Effect is changing that. Through our podcast episodes that release every other day, we tell the stories of those at every level of our sport. Through these incredible athletes' stories, we hope it'll inspire you to turn your "what ifs?" into realities. You can also follow us on Instagram @therunningeffect to stay up to date on all current and upcoming projects!
