Dr Lola Salem graduated from the École Normale Supérieure, Lyon, in 2015 (MA Musicology), the Sorbonne in 2018 (MA Aesthetics and Philosophy of Arts) and the University of Oxford in 2023 (D.Phil. Musicology). Her academic research lies in the fields of 17-18th centuries opera, performers, patronage and material conditions, with a specific focus on law.
