Episode 20 - Georgiana Lambe Character Spotlight

**I feel the necessity of putting a disclaimer on this podcast to remind listeners that in no way, shape or form am I attempting to portray that because Georgiana did not have the title of slave on her person in her recent history, it does not mean she was not treated as such simply due to the color of her skin; money and potential not withstanding. I am in no way desiring or attempting to convey Georgiana as having a life of ease, rather the opposite. I am attempting to draw your eyes to how her position, attributes and color may have alienated her not just from white society, but also from those with the title, position and life of an owned slave.**One of my favorite characters in Sanditon is Georgiana Lambe portrayed by the lovely Crystal Clarke. Her character has so many intricacies and hidden stories to her; we were given such a deep measure of hope for growth in the short eight episodes we've already seen, that I cannot wait to see how it plays out in seasons two and three. Today we are talking all things Georgiana! Om Podcasten

Sanditon is the last novel Jane Austen began before she died. Sadly, she was never able to finish it. Lucky for us, Andrew Davies, beloved Jane Austen friend/aficionado and friend to all those with a regency soft spot, picked up the project and created an eight episode run for Sanditon. It was originally aired on ITV in Britain, and moved to the US on PBS Masterpiece. 8 episodes was not enough and now we wait, beg and pray for more. This podcast is all things Sanditon, referencing Sanditon and Sanditon Adjacent. Let this fill the Sanditon sized hole in our lives!
