Episode 3 - Jane Austen Character spotlight with Melanie B

Our very first character spotlight is rightly about the one responsible for it all, Miss Jane Austen. Come along with us and listen as we share out insights and thoughts about this beloved author. Let us know if you agree or disagree with what we've said! During the editing process, we took some notes we wanted to share here: When we said Austen was and knew these things before any woman of her time, it was a generalization; she was one of few; outside the norm.  I recognize Jane Austen did not always write about London, but I personally associate London with her.  I also know that there is a JASNA In almost every state, but I had never looked it up before this. Om Podcasten

Sanditon is the last novel Jane Austen began before she died. Sadly, she was never able to finish it. Lucky for us, Andrew Davies, beloved Jane Austen friend/aficionado and friend to all those with a regency soft spot, picked up the project and created an eight episode run for Sanditon. It was originally aired on ITV in Britain, and moved to the US on PBS Masterpiece. 8 episodes was not enough and now we wait, beg and pray for more. This podcast is all things Sanditon, referencing Sanditon and Sanditon Adjacent. Let this fill the Sanditon sized hole in our lives!
