S6E18 - The Lost Boy In Gigantus (Scarecast Originals)

"Gigantus is a monster. Once made entirely of wood, it was converted into steel not that long ago. The ancient wooden beams and bones of its body were primarily switched out for a metal spine and reinforced ribs… such that loops and steeper drops could be incorporated. However, it still retains much of its wooden origins in the design, giving it a chimeric, otherworldly appearance. There are stories about this ride. Disturbing stories about accidents, deaths, and unsolved, unsettling secrets. Not surprising, really, when you consider how old the thing is… But still. The theme park doesn’t care. It only serves to bolster the ride’s mystique. And here’s a fun fact for you. Did you know that after someone dies on a rollercoaster, interest in that coaster- and attendance at the park- actually increase?"The Lost Boy In Gigantus" written by Darkly_GathersMusic by CO.AG Music Artwork by Alyssa Morgo - follow her on Instagram at @amorgo_art Follow me @thescarecast on Instagram for updates. Om Podcasten

A nighttime story with a happy ending is what we were used to as kids, but as we grow older, we realize the world is not such a happy place after all. MaddMike, a popular horror story narrator that originated on YouTube, started a podcast, The Scarecast, to tackle the real horrific experiences of people all across the world. From crazy encounters meeting people on Craigslist, creepy pizza deliveries in the middle of nowhere, to individuals encountering evil spirits that follow them wherever they go, this podcast doesn’t have many happy endings, but rather, tales that will terrify you and keep you on the edge of your seat. With over a hundred episodes, this podcast will surely take you for a ride.
