On today’s episode, Alejandra Chaparro speaks with the mentoring group #TeenUp about her journey to success. Alejandra is an expert in communications, marketing, and event management. She is regularly contracted out as a hired gun, working hands on in the trenches with business owners and high executives. Alejandra is an award-winning journalist with more than 15 years of experience in the media industry, including Miami, New York, LA, London, Spain and Latin America. She also hosted a weekly segment on Showbiz TV (CNN Español) in Miami and has been interviewed by Univision, NY1, El Diario, New York Times, among others. Alejandra is currently an active mentor of Women Entrepreneurs of NYC (WENYC), where she helps other women entrepreneurs and participates on panels and at speaking engagements. She has worked for business owners’ politicians, artists, medical centers, and companies such as Formé Medical Center, ReLive Med-Spa, Maxonrow, New York Life, Unilever, General Mills and Procter & Gamble.
