Episode 44: Dr. Jen Welter, 1st Female Coach in the NFL

For Dr. Jen Welter, greatness is a choice not an accident. When Jen Welter became a linebackers coach for the Arizona Cardinals in 2015, she was the first woman ever to do so. At only 5 feet 2 inches tall, she is an inspiration for all young girls, women and even men and a testament that you truly can achieve anything with hard work, determination, as well as a lot of sacrifice.  Today she speaks with our teen mentoring group #TeenUp, and they were in awe of her and so happy she came to speak to them. If you haven't done so yet, you can read about how she did it in her book "Play Big" - https://www.amazon.com/Play-Big-Lessons-Being-Limitless/dp/1580056830 If you would like more information about #TeenUp, teen mentoring programs, visit: https://maggiovirtualacademy.com/teenup/ For more information about how you can help sponsor educational programs for underserved populations and Maggio Multicultural Foundation, visit: www.maggiomulticulturalfoundation.org
