Thomas Maloney Westgård: "The hunt is better than the kill"

After placing 8th in the 10k classic in Ruka last weekend, the Norwegian-Irish skier is ready to be a consistent top-10 threat heading into the second week of World Cup action. North American fans might remember Westgård's incredible swing through Canmore, where he posted his first top-30 finishes, and Minneapolis, where he placed 6th in the 10k freestyle. The classic specialist, who trains with Team Aker Dæhlie, has an incredible story — from not owning skate gear until he was 16 to competing in two Olympic Games. Today's show is a must-listen.
