Architecture to artist (with a help from a viral Nick!) with Emily Cole Illustrations

There are few people in the equestrian industry who don't know Emily Cole. From her first sketch of Nick Skelton that went viral to more recent creations, many people have a piece of Emily's collection in their home or office. But what you might not know is that Emily was on course to be an Architect, until a sketch drawn in the small hours got shared by Horse & Hound, went viral, and Emily started working with British Showjumping. Of course, there's a little lot more to Emily's journey from there to here, including developing numerous collections, commission work for brands, and lots more besides. We also talk about Emily's favourite product (a lot like asking her to pick her favourite child!), the history of Marcel, favourite sketches, the lows, copyright infringement, the highs, big fibreglass horses, working with Horse & Hound, and so much more! I have the absolute pleasure of working with Emily, and as you'll hear in this podcast, she is a complete legend. Modest, incredibly talented, kind, brilliantly funny, and her own biggest critic.
