This is part 1 of a conversation I had with James Knight. James runs an agency called Sane Digital but during the first part of our chat we focused mostly on his time at Google. We discussed how he got the job. How was the interview process. The frustration he went through after being initially rejected and how things worked out in the end. James mentioned that Google really wants people to apply to work there and that they are very welcoming. I got the impression that there are opportunities for all kinds of developers at Google but you have to demonstrate what have you done before that it's interesting and noteworthy.
