In today's episode, I show you how to remember more of what you learn. In today’s age of information overload, it’s easy to consume tons of information and feel like we’re informed. Ironically, we understand less than ever. There’s too much information coming at us all the time. Because of this, we feel like we know things when the truth is, we couldn’t recall most of it. We may be familiar with material, but we don’t truly understand it. This is what is sometimes called the illusion of competence. Here are the most important principles and strategies for effective learning that I’ve distilled from a variety of sources over the years. They have helped me remember more of what I learn.
