#27: Eze Vidra - Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Remagine Ventures - Tourist Capital, Giving Back, and Why VC is a Service Business

Eze Vidra, the Founder and Managing Partner at Remagine Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on early-stage Israeli startups at the intersection of tech, media, data, and commerce. Eze studied Business and IT Management at the IDC and the renowned Zell Entrepreneurship Program before starting out in his career through which he held several product management leadership roles at Shopping.com in Israel, Gerson Lehrman Group in New York, Ask.com in Silicon Valley, and AOL Europe in London. Throughout this time, he also co-founded Dasur, a startup that developed text-input technology for mobile phones. After finishing his MBA at London Business School, Eze joined Google where he became a General Partner at Google Ventures (GV), the European head of Google for Entrepreneurs, and the founding head of Campus London, Google’s first physical hub for startups. While at Google, Eze spearheaded strategic commerce partnerships in EMEA and helped launch Google Shopping, Google Shopping Express, and Google Wallet in various European markets. In 2016, Eze joined Antidote, a digital health company, as the Chief Product and Innovation Officer, helping it raise $11M from Merck Global Innovations. In his free time, Eze founded and is actively involved with Techbikers, a non-profit to foster tech industry collaboration through cycling by supporting Room to Read to start schools and libraries for children in the developing world.
