205 - Nhan (Mike) Nguyen - FBI Forensic Examiner

Nhan Nguyen has an M.S. in Forensic Studies from Stevenson University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineer from California State University, Long Beach. Nhan has over 10 years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering and over 18 years of Digital Forensics experience with an extensive background in the field of digital forensics. Nhan works for the DOJ/FBI as a Master Digital Forensic Examiner (MDFE) / Technical Officer / Operations Manager. As an MDFE, he has conducted hundreds of extensive digital forensic examinations, peer reviews, technical reviews, administrative reviews and case assignments. He has also been involved in training and mentoring numerous digital forensic examiners (Federal, State, and Local) in computer, mobile, and DVR forensics, tool testing and validation, software updates, and budgetary recommendations. Nhan has multiple certifications such as Master Digital Forensic Examiner, Senior Digital Computer Examiner, Senior Mobile Device Examiner, JTAG/ISP/Chip-off Examiner, Forensic Audio/Video Examiner and Digital Video Recorder Examiner, and certified BlackLight Examiner.
