310 - Dr. Tuong Vu - Political Science Professor
Dr. Tuong Vu is professor and Department Head of the Department of Political Science at the University of Oregon. He is the founder and director of the US-Vietnam Research Center also based at the University of Oregon. He has held visiting appointments at Princeton University and National University of Singapore and taught at the Naval Postgraduate School.A native of Vietnam, his research focuses on the politics of nationalism, communism, revolution, and state-building in East and Southeast Asia.
