Bao Nguyen is a Vietnamese American film director and producer. Bao is a Vietnamese American film director, producer, and cinematographer who has directed eleven documentaries. He is notable for directing the documentary films Live From New York, chronicling the legacy of NBC's long-running sketch show Saturday Night Live, and Be Water, which originally premiered at Sundance Film Festival before airing as part of ESPN's 30 for 30 series. Be Water focuses on the life of martial artist Bruce Lee.
