e352. The 2025 Box Office Fantasy Draft

Happy New Year. And with the new year comes one of our longest running traditions. It’s time for the annual box office draft! Every year, we play a game where all of the hosts compete to draft the best slate of films from the upcoming year. First things first, we have to catch up on the results of last year’s Box Office Game and see who had the most successful predictions last year. Then, Mav, Hannah, Wayne, Monica, and Katya welcome back our returning draft commissioner Stephanie Siler for this year’s round of picks. We’ll preview our expectations for 75 different films that are expected (more or less) over the course of the year. So listen and see what we’re looking forward to, what we’re afraid of, and what we’re picking just for comedy value, then let us know what your selections would have been and whether you are looking forward to any of the movies we are in the comments. Om Podcasten

Vox Populorum is a blog and podcast devoted to pop culture criticism. We believe that the best way to understand culture is to discuss it. But we also believe that it's a lot more fun to have these conversations throwing back a couple beers at the bar rather than in a classroom. Please join our weekly round table of media critics, academics, creators, artists, professors, students and fans for an engaging discussion about movies, novels, comic books, television, video games, music or whatever else we happen to think of! Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, Vox populi, vox Dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit.
