42. The importance of running an authentic wedding business, with Joanna Southwell

I know the word ‘authentic’ gets overused, especially on social media and it starts to lose meaning. To me, being authentic means being true to yourself and being transparent, which my guest today is through and through.  With Joanna Southwell, what you see is what you get and that truly is her superpower.  Having started out in the industry over 7 years ago with her wedding boutique, Jo now runs multiple wedding businesses, mentoring bridal brands and founding the brilliant blog, The Wedding Hood.  Joanna is a big believer that being yourself is the best way to run your business and I couldn’t agree more, but it isn’t always easy and it takes practice.  In today’s episode, Joanna shares how she stays true to herself, and why being authentic is not only important for you but is so important for your clients and your future clients too.  And don’t forget, my free 5-day Bootcamp,The Wedding Business Bootcamp, kicks off 24th Jan so if you want to learn exactly what you need to do now to make 2022 profitable, come and join us.
