Due to the overwhelming success of Batman 1989 Warner Brothers and DC moved hell and high water to lure back Tim Burton and Michael Keaton for it's 1992 sequel, Batman Returns. With the death of The Joker new villains were introduced including Danny DeVito's Penguin, Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman, Christopher Walkens Max Shreck and the Red Triangle Gang. And boy is it very Tim Burton for better or worse.
