What an honour to have a conversation with Dr. Susan Fay about her fascinating research about horses, presence and relationship, her work with breathing and the nervous system, the many meanings and nuances of sacred space and the ways these spaces support our relationship with horses. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.  Dr. Susan Fay is an internationally recognized equine expert, consultant, and author of the Amazon best-selling book, Sacred Spaces–Communion with the horse through science and spirit. Susan has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Environmental Science and a PhD in Psychology, along with certifications in Mental Training and hypnotherapy. Dr. Fay’s diverse background enables her to draw on a broad range of experiences and knowledge to arrive at innovative ways to improve horse-human and human-human relationships.
