Israeli forces killed at least four Palestinians on Thursday while the Israeli election count was ongoing. Benjamin Netanyahu's new far-right coalition does not herald an end to the violence. Over in Brazil, former president Lula narrowly defeated Jair Bolsonaro in the presidential run-off. Plus, the UN voted for the 30th time against the 60-year-old US embargo on Cuba, but so far there’s no sign of US President Joe Biden budging. And electricity blackouts take place across Ukraine, as Russia evacuates Kherson in preparation for a Ukrainian counter-attack.
