The Yesterworld Podcast #019 - Talkin' Abandoned Animatronics, Lost footage & More!

This week, Mark and Quinn start off by briefly discussing the latest episode of Yesterworld - covering the history of the Magic Kingdom’s Mickey Mouse Revue!
With the rapid rise of accessible technology, will we continue to see regular behind the scenes looks at demolished rides, or will Disney find a way to keep not safe for magic images private?
What sort of amazing Disney footage is still yet to be discovered? Could we someday see a high quality video of the Haunted Mansion’s Hatbox Ghost?
Universal Studios Hollywood released a short teaser for their new attraction - Jurassic World: The Ride.
We introduce a new segment - Backseat Imagineering - where Mark and Quinn take a theme park ride or attraction in limbo, and discuss how WE think Disney / Universal should move forward. This week, we take on Hollywood Studios’ Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, which was recently replaced at Walt Disney Studios in Paris and is thought to be on the way out in Orlando as well.
Could the Lord of the Rings franchise ever be acquired for a fully realized theme park attraction?
Quinn and Mark attempt to introduce another new segment… which fails horribly. Maybe next time.
