Pinocchio

March 31, 1940 - The Jello Program starring Jack Benny! Jack was also on Orson Wells' program that week in a mostly dramatic play called "June Moon". But most of the show is a spoof of Walt Disney's Pinocchio which came out the previous month, February 1940. The Blue Fairy was played by a woman Jack almost married, Mary Kelly. Of course he ended up marrying Mary Livingston instead.
