Deb Delisle is the Executive Director and CEO of ASCD. During her career, she has also served as a teacher, gifted education specialist, curriculum director, elementary school principal, district associate superintendent, superintendent, state superintendent, university instructor and as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Elementary and Secondary Education. ASCD is a nonprofit dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
