Martin is the longest-serving Waterstones manager working in the Canterbury bookshop for around 30-years. Martin has written a book called The Bookseller’s Tale, in which he recounts some interesting tales from his last thirty years of working in the shop. The people he’s met, the books he’s read and more. He is fascinating. He says that for him this is not a career, but a philosophical path.
