Ken Walker aka Ken@Work interviewed by Lenny Fontana for True House Stories # 079 (Part 1)

TRUE HOUSE STORIES W/ KEN WALKER AKA KEN@WORK # 079 - PART 1 Ken@Work is the alias of Melbourne DJ & Producer Ken Walker. Ken shares with us his beginnings from starting in grade school as a disco DJ. His first chance of playing music for a crowd was when his school had a dance and he was put to the task to spin the music. He finds a nitch with a South African DJ living in Melbourne that had all the new promos from USA. This is how he figures out what direction of music he is going to play and how to mix it. He then is working as a stage hand on the live circuit around Australia and this is the first taste where he works with bands from USA, and Europe.
