She is best known for her work with the Happy Mondays, recording and touring with the band from 1990 and recently reforming with the original lineup. Her 1989 track "Reach Out” on Bush Records has been sampled by Steve Angello, Laidback Luke and Todd Terry. She was also the last woman standing, finishing fourth, in the First Series of The X Factor in 2004. She talks about illness and how to cope with Covid. She has proved that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Rowetta is a very inspirational figure and she proves that you can take your life from the very bottom and with positive thought and hard work take it all the way to the top.
