From there, Tall Paul became the resident DJ at the Gardening nightclub, Zap Club in Brighton and Trade in London, before headlining at various events in countries including the US, Brazil, Japan, and Ibiza. Red Jerry from Hooj Choons bestowed the name onto DJ Paul Newman calling him Tall Paul. Tall Paul is a leader and is sought after for his sound that smashes the crowd each and every time he plays. Paul's hit single "Rock Da House" went into the mainstream charts cementing him not only as an world class dj but having him rise to his next level as an Award winning producer.
