# 42 - The Shape Of Water / The Mercy / Loveless / Blade II

This week's podcast is a special, live from Shoreditch House, in which James Richardson is joined by David Jenkins and Matt Thrift, to discuss the week's major movie releases. There's Guillermo del Torro's The Shape Of Water, which ls being shown much love, not least from the Oscars where it leads the nominations. There's The Mercy, starring Colin Firth, a true story of one man's disastrous attempt to win the 1968 Golden Globe Race, and his outrageous account of traveling the world alone by sea. Plus the bleak, but acclaimed, Russian thriller, Loveless. And in tribute to del Torro's latest release, for Film Club, the trio chew over his 2002 Wesley Snipes fronted vampire flick, Blade II.
