Was King David Illegitimate? In the background of the Christmas story is King David. In Psalm 51:5 David wrote that he was sonceived in sin. Did his mother conceive him in sexual sin and therefore illegitimate? Or is it a statement of spiritually being born with a sinful nature already? There are good arguments for both sides.
