Part 1: Author Jennie Allen on Toxic Thoughts and the Enneagram (Enneagram 7) [S03-028]

This week on Typology, I’m excited to welcome author, Jennie Allen. Jennie is the founder and visionary behind IF:Gathering, an organization that equips women with gospel-centered resources, events, and community so they may learn more about who God is and disciple others. A sought-after speaker, Allen has taught at Women of Faith, Catalyst, and Q conferences. She is the author of several books, including Restless, Anything, and Nothing to Prove, and her latest book, Get Out of Your Head: Stopping the Spiral of Toxic Thoughts, just released on January 28th. In part 1 of this 2-part episode, Jennie and I talk about how understanding her own strengths and weaknesses as an Enneagram Seven has played a pivotal role in learning to trust others in leading her organization while allowing her to lean into her own gifts to find happiness and success in both her professional and personal life.
