Cory Sandhagen, rapper Major Nine w/ guest co-host “The Schmo”
With Jim Norton out for the day, "The Schmo" makes his return to UFC Unfiltered for a show alongside Matt Serra that sees the guys talk to bantamweight Cory Sandhagen and rapper Major Nine. After a series of injuries between Cory and Umar Nurmagomedov which postponed their scheduled bantamweight matchup to August, Sandhagen unpacks the challenge of preparing for an unbeaten contender knowing that a loss could jeopardize his place as someone already well-positioned to fight for the UFC's 135-pound crown. Shortly after, Miami native Major Nine hops on the show to talk about his journey from playing defensive end in the NFL to rapping and producing alongside big-time artists like Rick Ross. A diehard MMA fan himself, Major Nine talks about how his family ties to Kimbo Slice helped him fall in love with the sport.
