Aimee Yang is the Founder and CEO of BetterBrand, a consumer food tech company working to challenge the status quo of diet and healthy eating by taking on the refined carbs industry. Born in LA, BetterBrand is transforming the most carb-heavy foods into the least, starting with bagels. Aimee launched BetterBrand in 2021 after securing a record-breaking $1.2M pre-seed round, making Yang the first American female founder to raise over $1M in a venture-led pre-seed round across the food tech, consumer, and food and beverage industries (via Crunchbase). The round was led by VERSO Capital, placing Better Brand in a portfolio amongst unicorns Impossible Foods & Eat JUST.
