He is a political journalist for Rolling Stone, host of the podcast Useful Idiots, and publishes a newsletter on Substack. We use a lot of Matt’s articles as resources for our YouTube videos, and as part of our political research. He is an exceptional journalist with an admirable work ethic. He understands what has gone wrong—not only in the political landscape, but in how that landscape is being reported on.
