Restoring the Caledonian Forest

Trees for Life is a charity organization working to restore the Caledonian Sorest that once stretched across the top of Scotland covering some 15,000 square kilometers. Today less than 1 percent of this massive woodland remains. Efforts to rewild the Scottish Highlands includes planting trees, soil conservation, land management, reintroduction of critical species and more.
