Prior to his FBI service he was a police officer for five years in Arlington, Virginia. Jim also served two years as a Special Agent with the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security. In 2004-2005 he was a Director of Intelligence Programs on the National Security Council (NSC) at the George W. Bush White House. This all culminated to him being assigned as the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the FBI’s Jacksonville Field Office between 2008-2012.
