Haven't You Punished Yourself Enough? Receiving God's Forgiveness and Setting Yourself Free

“I’m just not good enough.” “I should have known better.” “I’m not worthy of forgiveness.” “I always mess things up.” “I’ll never be able to change.” Behind every one of those phrases, we find a piece of ourselves that feels like it should be punished. So, we impose self-punishment and call it "holy," but punishing ourselves is no way to live.  Let me ask you this - Do you believe you are forgiven? Fully forgiven, especially when you repent? In this episode, I walk through the steps of genuine repentance, redemption, and restoration through Christ.  When we genuinely repent of our sins, God extends His forgiveness to us through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
