One is the first ever story featuring Ranpo's detective Kogoro Akechi solving a salacious killing, and the other is a howcatchem featuring a scheming university student who thinks he's done the perfect murder - and he also encounters Akechi! We get our first taste of Ranpo's work, discuss how to un-"Boss Baby" ourselves, and talk about our favorite lines and moments from these tales.
