COVID-19 & The Caribbean: A manifestation of systemic risk

The COVID-19 pandemic goes beyond almost anything experienced in living memory. Long-standing norms have been upended. The way we work, trade, travel, study and socialize has been transformed beyond recognition, perhaps forever. In this fourth episode, we talk about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Caribbean. We want to thank Alana Lewis, Evangeline Inniss-Springer and Omar Bello for sharing their experience with us. Resilient Voices is made possible by the Government of Japan and German Society for International Cooperation. We want to highlight their invaluable contribution to make this podcast a reality. *** Credits: Host: Delfina Moreno Della Cecca Script and production: Florencia Flores Iborra Sound mix: Rodrigo Ruesta Graphic design and illustrations: Vivi Maidanik Music: "Belonging", "Downstream", "Silhouettes", "Under a blanket" & "Somewhere" by Muted for Artlist. General Production: Luis Burón. An original realization of Tristana producciones for the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
