You may know him as the poet who inspired the Broadway musical, and now infamous movie, Cats. T.S. Eliot, though, is widely recognized as one of (if not the) best poets of the 20th century for his Modernist classics such as "The Waste Land" (1922) and "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" (1915).
