Ava DuVernay was nominated for the Academy Award- Best Picture for Selma, and Best Documentary film for 13th, she racked up 4 Golden Globe nominations and won 4 Emmys, a Peabody award and a BAFTA. Her work includes Middle of Nowhere, Selma, 13th, Jay-Z's A family Feud, Queen Sugar and of course A Wrinkle In Time to name a few.
