114: A VARy embarrassing linesman ft. Matty Taylor

So we all came crashing down to earth on Saturday night when our impressive run of form was ended in quite controversial fashion by Man United and VAR.   We didn't help ourselves with all those missed chances, particularly in the first half, but that shambolic VAR decision that led to Paul Pogba's leveler set the tone for the rest of the game.   But there are still loads of positives to take from that 3-1 defeat as we head into to a huge Friday night clash with Leeds at Elland Road - a win there takes us back into 5th, a draw would at least keep us firmly in the top 10.   And that's the crux of this week's episode as James Jones and Will Pugh go it alone with Tom Edwards, who couldn't get himself out of work in time for the recording. The lads discussed the Man United game in depth - what did they blame for the defeat?    Also on this week's episode; James and Will discuss their Betway Charity Bets ahead of the weekend, Will chats to Darren Harper from the LS11 Leeds United podcast, the boys mull over West Ham Women’s narrow defeat to Chelsea and, at the very end, Will catches up with former Hammers winger Matty Taylor, who recalls his memories of playing with the late Papa Bouba Diop at both West Ham and Portsmouth.   There’s no Name That Game this week due to Tom’s absence, but that will of course return next week as James looks to extend his points lead at the top.   It is of course yet another packed show!
